3. Choose export chat.

However, I do want to mention that you don’t have to use any file management app to view any saved audio file. Instead, you have to simply open File Manager visit the WhatsApp directory, go to the media directory, and simply view all the contents that you are looking for.

1. Open the File Manager application on your Android.
2. Tap on the internal memory or internal storage.
3. Find the WhatsApp directory and open it.
4. Open media directory. The good news is that all the downloaded media files are available here and they are divided according to their file type which means it is organized for you to easily find audio files.
5. Audio files including music are stored in the WhatsApp audio folder and voice messages are stored in the WhatsApp voice notes directory.
6. The moment you can see all the audio files, you can sort ascending or descending from the latest to the oldest. To play the audio file, rename it and change the extension from opus to mp3 or ogg or move it into a different directory.
